Sam Strano and Stuart McColl from the Sustainable Agriculture team at cesar will be facilitating a pest management workshop at the upcoming BCG Canola Diagnostic Schools forum. It’s an opportunity for grain growers and advisors to refresh their skills in insect identification, get a close up look with a range of pests and beneficial insects through microscopes and find out what to expect in their crops this spring.
Accurate identification and monitoring of pests is a vital aspect in developing an effective pest control strategy, ultimately avoiding crop failure and wasted chemical applications. This workshop will step participants through insect identification and monitoring techniques. In particular there will be a focus on the management of spring pests, so don’t miss out!
