PestFacts south-eastern is underway for 2012

The popular PestFacts south-eastern service is underway for another winter growing season. This free service is an opportunity for farmers and farm advisers to not only keep informed about emerging invertbrate pest issues and solutions, but to also report and share important pest issues that they come across.

PestFacts south-eastern is distributed as an electronic newsletter with the aim to help farmers achieve maximum yield and quality for the lowest cost by:

• providing timely information about pest outbreaks
• outlining effective controls
• providing currrent information about relevant and new research findings
• issueing warnings and reminders for a range of invertebrate pests of all crops including pulses, oilseeds, cereals and fodder crops.
